Software Engineer & Cybersecurity · Brunel University London

// quick stats
I'm a final-year BSc Computer Science student at Brunel University London, graduating June 2026. My Final Year Project — Local Lens — is a full-stack AI civic-reporting platform that uses Claude vision AI to analyse photographs and auto-fill structured council issue reports, complete with a priority-scoring engine and anti-abuse controls.
Alongside development, I've spent three years as a Robotics & Coding Instructor at RoboThink, teaching Python and hardware integration to 120+ students weekly aged 4–14. That experience sharpened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly — something I bring directly to code reviews and collaboration.
I'm pursuing graduate roles in software engineering and cybersecurity, backed by Year 3 modules in both disciplines, active TryHackMe practice (Pre-Security and SOC Level 1), and a black belt in Taekwondo — because discipline in the dojo transfers directly to debugging at 2am.
Built a full production system integrating Claude Vision API, geolocation pipelines, SHA-256 anti-duplicate controls, and a custom 0–100 priority-scoring engine.
Year 3 Cybersecurity module, active TryHackMe learner (SOC Level 1), and practical experience implementing secure credential management and hashing in real projects.
Brunel READY Leadership Award recipient. Three years teaching technical concepts to students aged 4–14 — proven ability to explain, inspire, and lead.
Final Year Project · 2025–26
An AI-powered civic reporting platform where residents photograph local council issues — potholes, broken lighting, fly-tipping — and Claude Vision AI automatically fills in category, severity, and recommended action. The council dashboard surfaces the most urgent cases via a custom priority engine combining AI severity, open time, community upvotes, and local density.
